So don't copy that flopy!
I have great regard for Stardock. I've been more than happy to pay for their products because they have a fantastic attitude to their customers, they treat the people who play their games as respected friends, and because they produce a very high quality product (partly because they involve the fans at every step *cough cough*).
At least 6 people have bought stuff from them because of my personal recommendation. When you have a company who'd rather spend money on coding than marketing, I'm happy to advertise for them.
And who was it that recommended you check out GalCiv? Do I need to find the post for you?

Is it a game that can be played while doing homework? (Little opinionated here, just find that I get my ars handed to me if I try to multitask with some games)
How long does it take to finish a game about?
Thanks ahead of time guys, happy hunting.
yes
Maybe. In fact, probably yes, as there are a lot of times I am waiting while my money/resources builds up to start spending again.
Depends. I have done small games in 4 hours, and bigger games over a couple days. Time to complete a game depends on three things. How quickly you want to destroy the enemy, how large of a map you play and how many opponents you have.
I haven't played a game yet where I have done all of the reseach trees before wiping out my opponents.

Originally by: Vandagrif Gah! Sorry one more question, how does it secure the digital download? Is it an account where I can re-download whenever I want?
If you buy from Stardock, all of your purchases are tied into an account, and just like Valve's Steam, as long as you have the original account login and password, you can download all of the Stardock products you have purchased. In fact, Stardock was ahead of Valve in doing this digital distribution.
Just make sure to install the Stardock manager software where you want your games, it does not allow you to chose the installation directory for the software you download.
